Description

I started seeing video cameras of participants in a call switch off more consistently. Even though someone turned their cam on it it's no longer visible. Very recently I saw this with screensharing, too.

There's a message that can be seen extremely briefly if one is attentive enough saying Video turned off to save bandwidth. However it disappears so quick that more likely people start thinking the participant has issues on their end. And you can't easily tell what happened.

I'm not aware of a work-around so this is making some calls where a talk or pair-programming was part of the agenda impossible. I'd be happy to learn if there is a way around it, though.

Hi there - and a Happy and Healthy 2022!

I'm currently closing old tickets which did not see much change.
If the main concern still exists and should be handled, please re-open by just replying to this Email.

Thanks in advance,
Lars
