closedBug on opensuse.org website: news & events section is empty
0%
Description
Hi!
The news & events section on your website is completely empty. See the
attached screen shot for more details.
It happens on the English and on the German website. I'm using Mozilla
Firefox but I suspect that it's not browser specific.

The actual problem is in the RSS feed from news.o.o. See https://news.opensuse.org/feed/ Looks like there is 4 unexpected characters at the beginning of the feed. I think it already happened in the past, but I don't remember the cause.

This was from the latest security update in WordPress. We have already staged a fix for it.
Micah, can you apply this to the opensuse blogs in production? Also, please close the ticket in progress. Marcus can help you out with getting set up and familiar with progress if you aren't already.
FYI, you can remove Scott Weber from these threads and from progress. Micah is his replacement. Thanks!
