- Status changed from New to Blocked
There are still with 2 issues blocked. We can wait for the bug resolved and then automate it.
1198421 - [SLES15SP4][117.1][SECURITY][FIPS] Firefox HTTP digest auth with FIPS enabled failed to authenticate against squid
1198558 - [SLES15SP4][129.1][SECURITY][FIPS] Firefox error code sec_error_no_memory encountered when opening test html with apache mod_ssl under fips mode
2 bugs are still blocked and still in backlog.
- Priority changed from Low to Normal
This is still something that is listed as a FIPS regression testing and will need manual testing until automation completed, so automation would be useful.
Of the bugs the other one is now won't fix, other one P2 and open.

Notes from ticket #122585 by amanzini:
"developed automation test for the 1st step (squid init and use as a web proxy); currently working on the 2nd (squid as a reverse https proxy in front of apache). notice that 'ssl bump' is an old feature from 3.1 to 3.4 and it has been replaced with a more complex and powerful mechanism on the new version: https://wiki.squid-cache.org/Features/SslBump"
-> he developed test automation for the 1st and 2nd steps, and 3rd step is now dropped due to being obsolete.
- Status changed from In Progress to Resolved
