It is an sporadic issue. We should check if it is a sync problems when we come back from graphical installation to install shell and if not and it is related with some low performance, ensure 'exit' is typed correctly.

We have already switched to type_string_slow method, I have created better needle for teardown, as old one would match start shell before the installer was started and we start typing too early. Old needles were re-created both for SLES and openSUSE.

We still can see it: https://openqa.suse.de/tests/5328795#step/reboot_after_installation/3
Wondering if checking for exit and the three dots on top would help and if doesn't match, delete those characters. wdyt?

I wonder where those characters come from, as needle didn't match, so we were not supposed to type exit

I guess best way will be to provide solution on YaST side to allow loading extensions without startshell functionality, rather than applying workarounds for such cases.
