TODO: check which firmware we actually need (find machine type in e.g. HMC)
According to https://gitlab.suse.de/openqa/salt-pillars-openqa/-/blob/master/openqa/workerconf.sls#L738 we have a machine "redcurrent" in our config and also on https://openqa.suse.de/admin/workers/1326 I see that the machine is running tests just fine. However, you wrote "ppc9" and I assume you meant "power9". But https://openqa.suse.de/admin/workers/1326 says "POWER8". Any ideas why the mismatch?
Still, based on that I assume this is not necessarily needed for us to plan right now.

As discussed with nsinger we are not aware of further problems after we fixed the boot problems software side in #68053 so we can also close this ticket as rejected as we did not conduct the firmware upgrades.
