Description

Dear OpenSuse Admins,

I#m just trying to update my distribution (Leap15.0) and I get a download average rate of about some Kb/s. So pls check your server to see if there is something wrong.

Best regards

Thanks for your report.
As you noticed, it is mostly back working for the moment, but some longer term development effort needs to be done to avoid the need of such firefighting in the future.
There are known problems with the design of the database of the download redirector "mirrorbrain" discussed at
https://lists.opensuse.org/heroes/2019-06/msg00024.html
https://lists.opensuse.org/heroes/2019-06/msg00005.html

and one of the important servers was also down

I guess we can state the original issue is fixed but there are ideas on top which probably deserve their own ticket, see #59915 for that
