Description
It has become very difficult to use the forums.
Yesterday evening (CST), a forum page was inaccessible due to a redirect loop. The main forum page had a "Login" link. Clicking that redirected me back to the same page, with no chance to actually login.
This morning (around 8am CST), I closed the browser to clear session cookies. I restarted the browser. And I was able to login. Then, at around 10:30 am, the forum page indicated that I was not logged in. Attempting login at the main forum page gave me "502 Bad Gateway" at:
https://www.microfocus.com/nesp/app/plogin?agAppNa=openforums&c=suse/name/password/uri&target=%22https://www.microfocus.com/LAGBroker?%22https://forums.opensuse.org/login/?destination=%2Fforum.php%22%22
And I am stuck not logged in, and unable to do my job as a moderator.
It was suggested that I report the problem here.
I normally show as member "nrickert" at the forums and at other openSUSE sites.

I assume this has to do with work done on servers in provo regarding the authentication? I just know that today I had what looks like the same problem trying to login on bugzilla.suse.com/bugzilla.opensuse.org and another community member, as reported in #42599 problems of a similar kind. What seems to have worked for both of us is to delete cookies in the browser. Look for not only tickets pointing to the domain of opensuse.org , probably something with "login" or "microfocus.net" or "suse" in the domain?

I had the same problem yesterday which I could temporarily circumvent by deleting corresponding cookies from my firefox instance. I doubt anyone that can fix it would look into the tickets here. This is why I reported an issue to the microfocus IT (internal ID FIX_246784) . Let's see if someone can connect the problem reports and help to fix it …

anyone still has problems to login to either forums.opensuse.org or bugzilla.opensuse.org with redirect problems as reported here ? I received feedback from Microfocus IT in the ticket "FIX_246784" that something should have been fixed in the past days :)
