Description

Dear Carsten, Dear openSUSE admins, yesterday the description of the
main problem at the opensuse update site, which caused the empty 15.0
leap update directories, was sent to the opensuse-announce
mailinglist. After this e-mail the problem should be fixed and also the
mirrors should have the newly built packages. The mentioned rpms
directory is also created on the halifax mirror, but still there are no
packages republished. The repodata files are dated to 03/22/19 9:
14.@openSUSE admins: Please verify if the "rsync" push mechanism is
working to the halifax mirror. Is perhaps a initial manual
synchronisation necessary to get the contents ? But i'm not the
administrator(s) of the halifax mirror and i don't know if you have
already sent some hints to them.Thank your for your support !Best
Regards,Ralf

Dear OpenSUSE admins,
our mirror ftp.halifax.rwth-aachen.de seems to be missing some
files(see below). Since that part of our server is synchronized on
your end(using rsync write access), there's little I can do about
that. Couldyou investigate?
Thanks,Carsten

totally empty on your system.
Please look after this situtation.
Thank you for work.

Hi Ralf

Sorry about letting this wait for so long, I must have overlooked it. We did indeed have some issues with the push mechanism, but it should have been solved. Are you still seeing some problems?

Dear Per,
I've changed between July (21.7) and November to the suse public mirror (rsync.opensuse.org/opensuse-full-with-factory/opensuse), because the halifax mirror was not up to date for several days in July. Since 16.11 i'm back on the halifax mirror without problems. Before July the halifax server was running without recognized problems from my point of view as "customer".
Best Regards
