Observation¶
openQA test in scenario sle-12-SP5-Server-DVD-x86_64-qemu@64bit fails in
kvm
I don't really understand why it doesn't work on openqaworker13 but works fine for O3 worker "imagetester" which has an AMD CPU as well: https://openqa.opensuse.org/tests/864932

- the O3 worker "imagetester" has an AMD CPU as well but the test works there
- imagetester is running LEAP 15.0
- openqaworker13 is running LEAP 42.3
Using this test vm...

qemu-system-x86_64 -enable-kvm -cpu host -kernel linux -initrd initrd -cpu host -m 1024
... there is no svm cpu flag shown on openqaworker13.
When using the qemu from tumbleweed on openqaworker13 the above testvm does show an svm cpu flag.
So it seems that an upgrade of openqaworker13 to LEAP 15.0 could resolve the issue.
