It is because the new 'extended search' feature for zypper search. I have filed poo#45440 for it.

Okay, according to poo#45440, we add argument (--non-interactive) here as a work around for this issuse, and see if we could change zypper_call api in future.
I didn't aware that it is using script_run rather than zypper_call. So there's nothing wrong with zypper_call, I should change the code to use it.
