Based on the profile in the attachment, we need to adjust it to add new test. minimal profile can be used to identify things which has to be added, e.g. registration, user.

Acceptance criteria

  1. Functionality is evaluated manually covering potential regressions for the old format
  2. Autoyast installation using disk as physical volume and validation is automated and enabled in openQA for SLE 15 SP1

what do you think to do first: autoyast based or GUI installer based? Actually I think we commonly do GUI installer based first so I would go for autoyast first this time :)

Considering bigger costs for maintaining UI installation, I would go for AY. It's also should be easier to develop with provided profile example and validation script.
