Description
Hello there!
I have some disk/bandwidth (~400GB, 100Mbps) spare on a server in Nuremberg
and I was thinking about setting up a http mirror for openSUSE Tumbleweed,
Leap 42.3 and 15.0 (also Packman). If I have room for everything, of course :)
URL: http://mirror.lk3.org/
Can I have access to the bits I need? :)
Greetings,¶
Javier Llorente

Hello Javier
thanks for offering to be a mirror, that's great.
Tumbleweed + Leap take up about 200Gb, so that should fine, but I suggest you take a look at what we offer via rsync://rsync.opensuse.org and see what you can fit in.
Otherwise please go to https://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Mirror_infrastructure and check out:
- Conditions for access to stage.opensuse.org
- Registering your mirror
- Assignee changed from opensuse-admin to pjessen
Hello!
The rsync banner saying that access is limited to 50 connections made me think that it was a good to request access to stage.
Anyways, the mirror is running fine so far.
I currently have a cronjob for rsync'ing Leap 42.3, 15.0, TW and Updates every 6 hours and Packman every hour.
It's using 186 GB for openSUSE and 25 GB for Packman.
I have already applied my mirror to become a Packman mirror. Later on, I will probably apply it for becoming an openSUSE mirror as well. First, I want to see how it goes.
I think this ticket can be closed.
Thanks,
Javier
