Observation¶
openQA test in scenario sle-15-Installer-DVD-x86_64-gnome_install_smt@64bit fails in
zypper_lifecycle
On svirt-hyperv and smt the system get registered against the real scc and therefore zypper_lifecycle fails and this shouldn't be anyway
Tasks¶
- Find the root cause why regrul boot option is not added to the hyperv scenarios
- Investigate why zypper se doesn't fins the package in case of smt scenario, even though is available in the repo
- Fix according to the findings
Acceptance criteria¶
- Test module passes or fails on the bug
Reproducible¶
Fails since (at least) Build 408.1
Expected result¶
The tests should run as every other test with proxy_scc

https://github.com/os-autoinst/os-autoinst-distri-opensuse/pull/4441 this is a fix for xen.
For smt we face same issue like here: https://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1078255 as a suggestion we could run this test suite as install only to verify registration works, however we cannot rely on used repos.

https://openqa.suse.de/tests/1483693#step/scc_registration/3 so we register against proxy SCC. Labeled two jobs mentioned by jrauch using https://progress.opensuse.org/issues/30613 as it's script_output issue and not that we use wrong repos.
