Observation¶
openQA test in scenario sle-15-Installer-DVD-x86_64-yast2_ncurses@64bit fails in
yast2_tftp
Investigate if xinetd is required for SLE15 or not, search for existing bug or file a new one.
Missing packages is not installed during the test so after the bug is solved (removing unnecessary dependency or adding the missing package) the task will be to provide validation.
AC: Should work without error popups
Reproducible¶
Fails since (at least) Build 288.8
For sle12 sp4 the packages is already installed (see last good).

As far as I can check in different branches of repo yast-tftp-server xinetd was always there.
For instance, in SLE12 SP4 xinetd is in repo SLES12-SP4-12.4-0.

As far as I understood xinetd is obsoleted for SLE15 completely so either we see some left-overs from yast not being fully replaced or the problem has gone away already by itself anyway :)

There is a refreshment when enabling and before selecting alt-t so there is no effective focus on Boot Imagen Directory.
