Description
Hi,
Thanks for tagging os-autoinst repo, I've been working with lastest 4.4.1508936943.39adc5eb
However, tests in some archtecutre faild. Built with no failure architectures
are: amd64, ppc64el and s390x
see https://buildd.debian.org/status/package.php?p=os-autoinst for status
And build log are below, could you help me to investigate, please?¶
- Subject changed from test failure with some archtecutres on Debian unstable (arm*, i386, mips...) to test failure with some archtectures on Debian unstable (arm*, i386, mips...)
- Category set to Support
- Status changed from New to In Progress
- Assignee set to okurz
For a start it seems the i386 build fails early within the test 14-isotovideo.t trying to start qemu which it should not even try to do. The test variable "_EXIT_AFTER_SCHEDULE" should be evaluated there within the perl flow. The amd64 job doesn't show this.
The failure in arm64 I think is related to either performance problems in the tests assuming the qemu instance to start up faster (look for "Error connecting to host ") or the problem is the VNC viewer can not reach its corresponding server instance using the local hostname.
Running our tests with -j6 sounds like causing at least some of the problems. No idea how to set Makefile.am to ignore it
