getting a https URL
https://download.opensuse.org/repositories/KDE:Extra/openSUSE_Leap_42.3/KDE:Extra.repo
redirects to http
http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/KDE:/Extra/openSUSE_Leap_42.3/KDE:Extra.repo

while it should redirect to:
https://download.opensuse.org/repositories/KDE:/Extra/openSUSE_Leap_42.3/KDE:Extra.repo

(https url instead of http)

this is a know issue we currently have with mirrorbrain, that redirects to non-https mirrors while selecting an http URL

Until MirrorBrain understands about http and https, there isn't much we can do. It would also be useful for MirrorBrain to distinguish between ipv4 and ipv6.
(e.g. don't send an IPv6-only mirror to an IPv4 client and vice versa).
