Description

Marcus,

I'm still having problems mirroring the full opensuse content. We are
trying to leverage public mirrors where we can, but they don't have full
content either and it gets complicated trying to patch multiple sources
together. I tried the University of Texas build-service mirror, but it is
missing things like Evergreen content. And while rsync.opensuse.org
includes Evergreen content, it doesn't publish a number of other
build-service repos. Without access to third party packages, we are being
force to migrate to ubuntu which is less enjoyable to use. Is there a
single mirror site that we could use to rsync full content?

Thanks,

Randall Smith

to a
USA mirror that has these modules.

stage is normally limited to public mirrors.
but rsync.opensuse.org should have all the content you need no?

First of all sorry for the delay. But we have been a bit swamped.

I could add you to the ACL, but maybe it would also make sense to add your mirror to the mirrorbrain database afterwards?
In doubt we can limit the mirror to your AS or subnet. That way your users, who have download.opensuse.org in their repository list will get their rpms from your mirror.

Does that sound like a deal?

No problem for the delay, this has been a crazy-busy month for me too.
Unfortunately, our users don't have Internet access, which is why we
operate the mirror. After we sync this local mirror, we use a custom tool
to build deltas and then sneaker-net these deltas over to our users.
