Description
We should extend the invis-portal status site, to let her show the version numbers of invis-server and openSUSE.
- Status changed from New to In Progress
- % Done changed from 0 to 10
- % Done changed from 10 to 60
invis-portal now shows invis- and openSUSE version numbers. The version numbers are colored green, orange or red to show if an installation is up-to-date, maintaned or outdated.
- Due date set to 2017-09-08
- Status changed from In Progress to Closed
- % Done changed from 60 to 100
I've created the website https://versioninfo.invis-server.org, which contains the neccessary invis-Server and openSUSE Versioninformations for the new invis-portal feature.
This site didn't log client IP-Addresses. In it's access-log are only date & time and the useragent logged. With this information we can etimate the numer of active invis-servers, but we have no information about there owners and location.
I added a data privacy declaration to the sine2 modulescript "check" wich is shown before the invis-server setup.
- Target version set to 13.0
- Status changed from Closed to Feedback
- Assignee set to flacco
I think this feature is not complete, because the version numbers of the current installation are fixed after the setup. If I do a update to 13.1 the portal will still show 13.0. Same for the OS-Version. It is only set in sine2 and sine2 is not run after the update. Or am I wrong?
That's true. Currently we have to set new version numbers manually after an upgrade.
We have to talk about an upgrade-script for invis-Server.....
- Status changed from Feedback to Closed
- Project changed from invis-server to invisAD-setup
- Category deleted (
Developement)
- Target version deleted (
13.0)
