Motivation¶

In #180707 we found a failing systemd service but received no notification about it. On o3 there is munin telling us about failed systemd services. On workers we could use https://en.opensuse.org/SDB:Howto-systemd-status-mail

Acceptance criteria¶

• AC1: Consistently failing systemd services on o3 workers notify us
• AC2: No duplicated alert message, e.g. from ariel where we already use munin

Suggestions¶

• Implement notifications for failing systemd services on o3 workers. At best this would use a proper "alerting system" but probably easiest is using https://en.opensuse.org/SDB:Howto-systemd-status-mail
