Observation

Apparently the subscriptions of @livdywan and @gpuliti to osd-admins was disabled:

Your membership in the mailing list osd-admins has been disabled due
to excessive bounces The last bounce received from you was dated
17-Feb-2025. You will not get any more messages from this list until
you re-enable your membership. You will receive 3 more reminders like
this before your membership in the list is deleted.

Acceptance Criteria

  • AC1: It is understood why memberships were disabled

Suggestions

  • Look at the osd-admins archive for suspicious emails
  • Emails from suse.de and suse.com are affected, so likely not something Google Mail-specific?
  • There was no alert, but Nick got emails about it as an "owner" of the list
  • Subscribe again...

Just repeating what I already said to you: I think this happened due to spam messages that were recently reaching the mailing lists. Why those two emails have reached the mailing list I don't know yet

Nobody was ever "unsubscribed". Just the sending email was "disabled". I now enabled all again. Let's monitor over some days.
