Motivation¶

openQA test in scenario sle-15-SP6-Server-DVD-Updates-x86_64-qam-yast_self_update_plus_15@64bit fails in
validate_self_update and validate_self_update due to the self_update repos not containing any data yet.

Scope¶

The particular tests don't have a reason to run since there is no self_updates available. MR: https://gitlab.suse.de/qe-yam/openqa-job-groups/-/merge_requests/192 is removing the self update tests but they shoudl be re-enabled in the yast mu schedule, once the 15-SP6 self_update repos are functional.

Acceptance criteria¶

• AC1 Keep an eye on the self_update repo: http://dist.suse.de/ibs/SUSE:/Maintenance:/Test:/SLE-INSTALLER:/15-SP6:/x86_64/update/
• AC2 Once there are valid data in the repo, revert MR: https://gitlab.suse.de/qe-yam/openqa-job-groups/-/merge_requests/192 with a new MR that will not include the line: +INSTALLER_SELF_UPDATE: '0
• AC3 Make sure that the self_update tests finish with no failures
