closederror with trying to login to openSUSE Wiki
100%
Description
I'm getting the following error when logging in en.opensuse.org. I trying to login and the next page I get is:
[9cdec23d3d2d95885e360d85] 2024-03-25 07:07:04: Fatal exception of type "MWException"
I've tried on multiple browsers and get the same error. When I intentionally make an error, the wiki sends me to https://idp-portal.suse.com, which is partially where the error is coming from I suppose. There was an authentication outage that I didn't see and I changed my password during this time. Somehow, it is probably related this event. . When I login to https://idp-portal.suse.com, it pushes me back to the wiki with the same fatal error.
Since I changed my password during an authentication outage, it may not have processed correctly with synchronization between the openSUSE wiki and the SUSE IDP portal. I tried resetting my password again, but that didn't work.

Wrong project, moving.

A wrong / not updated password probably wouldn't give you a MWException.
The usual suspect for a MWException after login is changing the mail address. Did you change the mail address in your account recently? If so, what's the address you use in your account now?

I didn't changed my email address. I just changed my password, but there was an authentication outage when I did this with idp. I'm pretty certain the email address was douglas.demaio@suse.com, but it could have been ddemaio@suse.com or .de. I use my bugzilla account to login and that was always username ddemaio.

Issue #157852 has been updated by cboltz.Sounds like your problem isn't caused by the "usual suspect", therefore I
enabled the debug log for your account. Please try to login again, and tell me after you did. (Login still won't
work, but this time I'll get a logfile that hopefully tells me what's
wrong.)

Yeah, I expected the failure - but this time, I have logs ;-)
Turns out, you indeed didn't change your mail address - but still, you did.
Before, the IDP submitted your mail address as douglas.demaio@suse.com - but now it's Douglas.DeMaio@suse.com
On the positive side, login should work again. Please test and report back.
