Motivation¶

Between various ways jobs may be cloned it is not easy to tell what or who cloned them.

For example https://openqa.suse.de/tests/13554456 was cloned as https://openqa.suse.de/tests/13556243 and there is no way to tell how that happened as it was reviewed. The new job has no comments or explanation in the UI that explain what happened.

Note: This came up in a feedback chat I had with @pstivanin on low-hanging fruit that could make the life of testers easier.

Acceptance Criteria¶

• AC1: What or who cloned a job is visible in the web UI

Suggestions¶

• Add something like Cloned via API call, Cloned by user xyz next to the Clone of or as an automatic comment
