Motivation¶

After creating a Grafana dashboard with metrics out of progress.opensuse.org the next question to investigate is how to connect grafana with any metrics we can think of in openQA

Just some ideas for metrics to implements (but the main purpose of the ticket is to investigate how to pull them from openQA to influxdb and then to Grafana):

Number of unlabelled failed tests in our job groups
Distribution of failures across architectures and whatever comes to your mind.

Acceptance criteria¶

AC1: Investigate what scripts and queries we would need to distill the metrics you found out of openQA.
AC2: Create follow-up ticket to research and brainstorm potential metrics useful to Yam squad

I suggest you also look into the metabase instance that is maintained by maintenance (?) which allows to query data from the openQA database of openqa.suse.de conveniently.
