action #14570
closedtextmode installations can get destorted (black artifacts on screen)
0%
Description
https://openqa.suse.de/tests/626713 shows we're missing the rebootnow - and only if you look at the video (that might be gone soon :), you notice that the terminal gets desorted. It starts to paint black and as such the needle does not match.
This looks like a product bug, but as this is SP1 we can't do anything about it. If this becomes more pressing, we can start pressing ctrl-L repeatedly as a workaround (hint by yast team to redraw screen content or re-initialize the framebuffer or something)
This appears also in current products in development so we should ensure this is fixed on the product side, not here. Leaving the ticket to track still but we should link bugzilla issues here.

Original comment from https://progress.opensuse.org/issues/14950#note-5:
https://openqa.opensuse.org/tests/318252#step/install_and_reboot/16 is pretty convincing on me. Looking at the video https://openqa.opensuse.org/tests/318252/file/video.ogv shows that at some time the screen does not update anymore and then slowly fills up with black artifacts. But the test still continues because the SUT reboots, see https://openqa.opensuse.org/tests/318252#step/install_and_reboot/17
