Description

Due to https://progress.opensuse.org/issues/132860 I realized that "openqa raspberry pi hw worker PDU" has a comment stating that it is connected to A20 of "PDU-FC-B2". However according to racktables, nibali is connected to port 20. I just tried it and saw that our Pi setup is indeed connected to port 20. This means the documentation of nibali.qe.nue2.suse.org is wrong and needs to be checked when in FC basement the next time.

Apparently someone is trying to mess with us. nibali was not connected. I now connected to A13 and switched A13 off. But I can't yet enter A13 in racktables as that is said to be connected to kernel-switch, which isn't true as kernel-switch is connected to A15. But I can't update that either because racktables says A15 is used by sonic+tails which isn't true because they are connected to A18, …

physical connections:
A19: coppi-down, merckx-down, A18: sonic-up+tails-up, A17: sonic-down+tails-down, A16: coppi-up+merckx-up, A15: kernel-switch, A14: pettigrew, A13: nibali, A: empty

As nibali was unplugged but the network connections are to pantani I asked if the devices are actually needed to run so I wrote a message in https://suse.slack.com/archives/C02CANHLANP/p1689841460336849

@Petr Cervinka @Michael Moese @Sebastian Chlad the whole setup around pantani.qe.nue2.suse.org in https://racktables.nue.suse.com/index.php?object_id=17828&page=object&tab=default seems currently unused. Can we power it off over the remote controllable PDUs please?

The answer was by schlad that next week they plan to make use of the device again. So I guess it was good that I plugged in the switch. Though I powered it off over the PDU remote controllable outlet.

I updated all entries in racktables https://racktables.nue.suse.com/index.php?page=object&tab=ports&object_id=21043
