Description

Observation

Virtual machine installation failed several times because the installation loader linux/initrd can not be downloaded successfully.

installation failed because 'linux' can not be downloaded

Steps to reproduce

  • Run virtual machine installation test from virtualization group with openQA

Impact

Test run fails from time to time

Problem

Looks like poor network performance

Suggestion

  • Check all networking elements enroute to ensure there is no bottleneck

Workaround

There is no workaround for this issue. But we can re-run the test.

There is no workaround for this issue. But we can re-run the test.

Then rerunning the test is the workaround but please don't waste your time doing it manually as there are multiple ways to handle such issues automatically
