Observation¶

With the gradual move towards NetworkManager, away from wicked and the neytconfig scripts, the hostname test module became invalid for the current setup.

NetworjManager no longer requires sysconfig-netconfig - but interacts with it when present (for now). The test currently expected it to be there though

openQA test in scenario opensuse-Tumbleweed-JeOS-for-kvm-and-xen-x86_64-jeos@64bit_virtio fails in
hostname

Test suite description¶

Maintainer: fvogt, mnowak

Start JeOS from the HDD image, configure it using the firstboot wizard and then run basic tests. console=tty0 added as needed for aarch64.

Reproducible¶

Fails since (at least) Build 20221111

Expected result¶

Last good: 20221110 (or more recent)
