We are in the process of reviewing how the mirrors should be managed, is there chance that you sync from

rsync://stage-main-repos.opensuse.org/ instead of access to stage.opensuse.org ?

Also currently mirrors must be registered on regional instances: if you have openSUSE account - you can login on the US instance:
https://mirrorcache-us.opensuse.org/login
and then add own mirror using button 'new mirror' in the middle of https://mirrorcache-us.opensuse.org/app/myserver

If you don't have openSUSE account or meet any problem with that - let me know and I will do the same for you.
