Description
observation¶
https://openqa.suse.de/tests/200106 should be named "USBinstall@uefi" but the result window shows "USBinstall" only
steps to reproduce¶
Select any test suite from the overview page with "@" in the name, e.g. also https://openqa.suse.de/tests/200201 and observe the part after "@" being stripped off or not shown
problem¶
A consistent way for displaying the test suite should be shown, either including or excluding the suffix (okurz prefers including to be explicit)
suggestion¶
- Research how the name is formed on both page templates
- Correct it to be consistent
we only show the machine name on the overview page if the test suite ran on multiple different machines - and leave it out if the machine is all the same.
I am not talking about the "overview" page. I am stating the "test results", i.e. the route /tests/:id
ok so how should we call "cryptlvm@uefi"? I understand that "sub overview" creates this using <name>@<machine> so it should also form the "scenario". I am ok with leaving out the default but the name generation on the test results page should use the same convention to form the full scenario name. Can we agree on this to prevent confusion?
it's a bit tricky to calculate in the test result page, but it sounds the proper thing to do
