Observation

openQA test in scenario opensuse-Tumbleweed-DVD-x86_64-security_check_kernel_config@64bit fails in
CONFIG_FORTIFY_SOURCE

Tumbleweed, with kernel 5.15.2, has CONFIG_FORTIFY_SOURCES also set to "y", intentionally, as the kernel changelog confirms:

  • Update config files: set CONFIG_FORTIFY_SOURCE=y consistently (bsc#1192476)
  • commit 3837451

Test suite description
