## observation
The webui (https://openqa.suse.de/admin/workers) shows its workers online. See screenshot _webui_workui.png_.
In the machine _xgene2_, the journal logs of the worker shows that the worker is no more under control, but the daemon is still running. See screenshot _journal_log_worker.png_
The lost of control happened by the time the workers have been being updated (openqa-worker).
## steps to reproduce
Not known steps to reproduce.
## problem
**H1** The process of updating the workers does not work for _xgene2_.
**H1.1** The machine _xgene2_ is not updated (openqa-worker).
**H1.2** The workers on _xgene2_ are not restarted after the update.
## suggestion
**E1.1-1** Inspect if _xgene2_ is included on the list of configured machines by salt.
**R1.1-1** It is not included because the machines are not stable enough to install/deinstall a lot of packages.
## workaround
* Restart the first worker daemon manually. (it has to be consulted with testing channel on IRC)
