## Observation I encounterd this error before. At that time, I can get over it by upgrade xterm-console and then re-install os-autoinst. This time I did not perform the exact same sequence of operations as before, but still tried to resolve this issue by various method. Unfortunately, this error persists and block me from continuing my test. ``` ============ Failure Message ==================== [2018-08-31T12:28:50.0975 CST] [debug] <<< testapi::select_console(testapi_console='sol', await_console=0) /usr/lib/os-autoinst/consoles/vnc_base.pm:71:{ 'port' => 36780, 'hostname' => 'localhost', 'ikvm' => 0 } [2018-08-31T12:28:51.0089 CST] [debug] Connected to Xvnc - PID 9001 icewm PID is 9013 xterm PID is 9015 IceWM: using /var/lib/empty/.icewm for private configuration files Fontconfig error: Cannot load default config file IceWM: Warning: Could not load font "sans-serif:size=10:bold". In both cases, it is difficult to script tests and verify the output. Output can be a popup window or it can be an error in early boot even before init is executed. openQA is an automated test tool that makes it possible to test the whole installation process of an operating system. It uses virtual machines to reproduce the process, check the output (both serial console and screen) in every step and send the necessary keystrokes and commands to proceed to the next. openQA can check whether the system can be installed, whether it works properly in 'live' mode, whether applications work or whether the system responds as expected to different installation options and commands. Even more importantly, openQA can run several combinations of tests for every revision of the operating system, reporting the errors detected for each combination of hardware configuration, installation options and variant of the operating system. linux-h997:~ # zypper info openQA-worker Loading repository data...
