Motivation¶
See #97043 . Many tests use the interactive GUI installer and take long to add all repos, re-download the same set of updates all the time instead of relying on something like nightly snapshots, etc.
Acceptance criteria¶
- AC1: Especially tests creating images used as base for downstream jobs use an optimized installation flow, e.g. autoyast
- AC2: There is still test coverage for the interactive GUI installer within maintenance tests
