Description
I sent an email to admin@opensuse.org and I guess a ticket got created already:
tickets #93781: Orthos2 top-level project
https://progress.opensuse.org/issues/93781
But I cannot access it (and cannot see it).
Therefore I create this one, so that things are not lost.
Thanks for your help:
we are at the final devel phase of orthos2, a SUSE internal
tool to reserve hosts.
It is hosted publically at github and there is project following mainline in
OBS already:
systemsmanagement orthos2
I now need a stable branched off version for productivity for this and
some other packages (cobbler, mkdud, python3-django,...)
I would like to collect these and provide these stable version to others
in a separate:
Orthos2
top-level (or at least kind of separated) project.
We once had similar stuff internally (IBS) like Devel:Archteam, but
fortunately this all moved mainline and I like to reflect this by an OBS
(build.opensuse.org) project.
Only the internal stuff is configuration and hosted in gitlab.
Thanks in advance,
Thomas

First: I don't see your project much different from the official SUSE Manager solution (please explain otherwise, what main difference is there).
SUSE Manager/ Uyuni is using: https://build.opensuse.org/project/show/systemsmanagement:Uyuni
From this, they have a couple of sub-projects:
https://build.opensuse.org/project/subprojects/systemsmanagement:Uyuni
Note: there are also systemsmanagement:puppet, systemsmanagement:saltstack, systemsmanagement:machinery, systemsmanagement:spacewalk, ...
So: systemsmanagement:orthos2
=> https://build.opensuse.org/project/users/systemsmanagement:orthos2 added you as maintainer/bugowner. Feel free to create as many sub-projects as you need.

Lars
