Description

We should have a bug bot that closes old Factory bugs. For example Fedora closes bugs that were filed during development of the previous release.

Doesn't sound like the best idea to me - bugs should be fixed, not ignored ;-)

Besides that, a good bugzilla query + mass-change could do the job if you really want to do this - no need to write a bot ;-)

"Good query" means at least:

  • only bugs that were not changed within the last 2 or 3 months
  • do not include major or critical bugs (IMHO those are worth to be manually checked)

Some people have raised concerns. I think it would require some discussion on the Factory list first.
