Description
Observation¶
openQA MicroOS ppc64le many "synth uevent: /devices/vio: failed to send uevent" in journalctl as reported in attached journal_check-full_journal.log
There are repeated two lines all along attached journalctl:
localhost kernel: synth uevent: /devices/vio: failed to send uevent
localhost kernel: vio vio: uevent: failed to send synthetic uevent
Such messages reported as "unknown issue" by journal_check module.
Seems to be ppc64le specific, as not such reports for aarch64 openQA tests.
- I do not know meaning of those kernel messages.
- Do we need journal_check to be changed to ignore such messages ?
openQA test in scenario microos-Tumbleweed-Kubic-DVD-ppc64le-kubeadm@ppc64le-4G-HD40G fails in
journal_check
Test suite description¶
Reproducible¶
Fails since (at least) Build 20200917
Expected result¶
Last good: (unknown) (or more recent)
Further details¶
Always latest result in this scenario: latest
