Hello team,
we'd like to make openSUSE Jump builds public on ftp-prod (including
ftp-trees, images ...). Please be aware that we need to make this
available for all architectures (x86_64, ppc64le, aarch64, s390x).Adrian told me that we do not yet have required directory structure on
pontifex.
actually it is pushed there already in the ftp-stage area.
What is missing is to make it public
thanks
adrian
I'd like to ask you to make this available until end of the week so
users can get a hands on prerelease.I'll create a separate request to autobuild to set up rsync syncs once
the request is done. Unless you're willing to cover this as well. Please see related announcement:
https://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-factory/2020-08/msg00075.htmlThank you very much in advance
Lubos

Hi Lubos
I think this is only a matter of you adding the necessary config here: https://github.com/openSUSE/publish_distro
Although I don't know if that is then automagically propagated to pontifex:/home/mirror/publish_distro/

Hello team,
was merged https://github.com/openSUSE/publish_distro/pull/5
Adrian mentioned that the config still needs to be deployed to the stage server as http://download.opensuse.org/distribution/ still doesn't contain jump and publish already happened.

I did a manual git pull
on pontifex, looks like there's no cronjob for it (yet?).

There is a script /home/mirror/bin/publish_opensuse which I suspect is supposed to be run to create the hardlink. It looks like it needs some updating wrt Leap 15.2.

Please be extremely careful before running it! I got bit scared when I've seen the entire scope of the script and the configuration of it.

Do I get that that the next part is on me? I'd most likely create a separate one just for Jump
