Description

I have problem with login on osd.
I got always:
openqa.suse.de didn’t send any data.
ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE

I revoked my openqa ID at https://id.opensuse.org/portal
and tried this again , but without success.

Please help, thanks

That you'll have to confirm the dialog shown in the PNG is normal.

For me (and I suppose other users) the login works. Have you tried using a different browser? Have you tried to clear all cookies and the browser cache? Since you're specifically mentioning OSD I assume that you can login to o3?

yes, I checked this again. Used a different browser firefox, it shows me Error code: SEC_ERROR_UNKNOWN_ISSUER

and there is no way to go futher.

I installed ca-certificates-suse now, but this is still not working.
Chrome doesn't throw a warning for certificate.

I check my openvpn status at point for login:

To check whether the VPN issues are related you could use journalctl -fu openvpn@SUSE-NUE.service to follow the OpenVPN log and try to login again. If the errors are logged at the same time they might be related.

Used a different browser firefox, it shows me Error code: SEC_ERROR_UNKNOWN_ISSUER
and there is no way to go futher

You might be able to go further by changing a certain value in about:config but I wouldn't recommend that. And is this certificate error shown immediately when you try to access https://openqa.suse.de or only when you try to login?

@mkittler you can also just track as "support case" and assign to yourself as you already were in discussion here.

@zluo first please make sure that you have proper certificates installed. SEC_ERROR_UNKNOWN_ISSUER is a symptom of something wrong there. At best also crosscheck that your local computer time is in sync, maybe that can also have an impact. For both the internal SUSE R&D certificates and openVPN SUSE IT is your go-to contact. Please also crosscheck with other openQA instances, e.g. openqa.opensuse.org
