Description

Dear admin/all,

these commands used to work just fine on an internal system with no initial repos a
couple of days ago:

--- snip ---
zypper ar http://download.opensuse.org/distribution/leap/42.3/repo/oss/ repo
zypper ar http://download.opensuse.org/update/leap/42.3/oss/ repo-update
zypper ref
--- snap ---

As of today I get:

--- snip ---

I know that 42.3 has reached EOL, but there still a few systems where we have to used
it for dependency reasons.

Do you have any idea what's going on?

Thanks and regards -- Till

Hi Till

I can't be certain, but when you get a certificate error on an http request, you must have been redirected to an https mirror. We have stopped scanning mirrors for 42.3, so it is possible the latest status isn't clean. I'll update "download.o.o" to make sure you are always redirected to ftp.gwdg.de who keeps old distros under discontinued/.

I have not heard back, I'll assume my update of the apache config on pontifex has done the trick.
