Test suite description¶
sle12sp4 to sle12sp5 regression all extentions(sdk,live) + all modules(pcm,tcm,wsm) + all patterns ppc64le
Expected result¶
Last good: (unknown) (or more recent)
Further details¶
Always latest result in this scenario: latest
If base case has modules, for sle12+ system media upgrade cannot add modules by repos. As modules don't have repos at openqa or anywhere.
We need add those modules after migration. Then to do regression test.

We tested again by removing the unnecessary SCC_ADDONS
in our HA tests, and they're able to clear the system_prepare
module. We will update our test suites accordingly.
Still think that SCC_REGISTER
should be checked before attempting to register the system, in particular if it's set to never
.

Without SCC_ADDONS we cannot register the original system to SCC to add LTSS (among other modules):

So removing SCC_ADDONS from our test suites it's not an option for the time being.
I will update my code so not impact your cases.
I would like to introduce our background about this PR. We want to use customer scenario, after media upgrade, customer need re-register their system, so they can update their system. Then we can go on some regression testing.

Reopen this ticket since I need update the code not impact others test cases.
