Description

Hi,

https://people.opensuse.org does not show the correct content. It should show
the GitHub pages rendered from https://github.com/opensuse/people, but it
shows the index of download.opensuse.org instead.

Could someone have a look and find out what needs to be done to fix this issue?

Best Regards,
Cornelius

  • Category set to Servers hosted in NBG

For some unknown reason, someone[tm] had removed people.o.o from the haproxy config, probably between 2019-03-14 and 2019-03-27.

I re-added it to the haproxy config where it was before:

     # cloud foundry
     #use_backend caasp_cf         if is_101 || is_hellocf || is_html5test || is_people || is_search-test || is_shop || is_software-caasp || is_static-caasp || is_studioexpress
-    use_backend caasp_cf         if is_101 || is_hellocf || is_software-caasp || is_static-caasp
+    use_backend caasp_cf         if is_101 || is_hellocf || is_software-caasp || is_static-caasp || is_people

but unfortunately I sometimes(!) get redirected to people.cf.infra.opensuse.org which is not available for people outside of the heroes VPN.

Unfortunately I don't know cloud foundry or how the people.o.o setup is done there, so someone else will have to take over...

To me it looks fine, e.g. https://people.opensuse.org/ is currently showing useful content, not the download.o.o index at least. Resolved?

Not really, see my previous comment.

Press reload / F5 several times, and sooner or later you'll end up at people.cf.infra.opensuse.org :-/

I finally found some time to work on this.

people.opensuse.org is now served by the narwal* servers that also host static.o.o instead of the broken caasp cluster, and finally works again :-)

Sorry that it took so long!
