Description

I noticed that in oepnQA especially for SLE15 we have plenty of small testsuites and then we have some really large testsuites.

That brings in several issues.

Too small testsuites generate quite overhead as we heed to start the image, enable testing repositories, install testing updates and then run singe testcase (like gzip).
https://openqa.suse.de/tests/2941616

We need to review this, if some testsuites are meant to grow (like testsuites for yast in cli) or not and consider their merge.

Another issue is too large testsuite.
Then it takes very long time to finish and restart it.

What do you guys think?

  • Category set to Enhancement to existing tests

As a result of backlog triaging (see https://progress.opensuse.org/projects/openqatests/wiki#ticket-backlog-triaging for more information).

Please, feel free to adjust the category or the "[label]" if you think different.

  • Status changed from New to Rejected

There are plans to split testsuites to smaller ones.
That makes this topic obsolete.
