openSUSE admin

I reported in February that rsync.opensuse.org was broken here https://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1124871 I was then asked to report this issue to admin@opensuse.org which I did and this issue was created: https://progress.opensuse.org/issues/48551 Now that issue has been closed without the issue being resolved. Please fix this issue or give me ssh access to widehat.opensuse.org and permission to to fix it myself.

rsync.opensuse.org keeps having zypper metadata (repomd.xml) that refers to files that don't exist. This is extremely serious and makes our distribution look bad when our mirror infrastructure does not work. The issue is easy to see. Just compare rsync.opensuse.org vs download.opensuse.org. For example:

http://rsync.opensuse.org/opensuse/update/leap/15.0/oss/repodata/
vs
http://download.opensuse.org/update/leap/15.0/oss/repodata/

If you just look at the files present or missing on rsync.opensuse.org (widehat) and their timestamps you'll notice something is wrong. If you look inside the repomd.xml files you'll see references to files that don't exist. This makes this unusable as a repository for zypper. Any company, organization or individual that uses rsync.opensuse.org to mirror leap or tumbleweed will have broken repositories.

vs
http://download.opensuse.org/tumbleweed/repo/oss/repodata/
is another example of a broken repository.
