Description

Acceptance criteria

  • AC1: In SLE15 the package "update-test-trivial" is handled accordingly where for older versions we had "update-test-trival"
  • AC2: Other product versions with still "update-test-trival" still work
  • AC3: Other product versions which have the typo-fixed version also work

Suggestions

  • Look up package names on all current products, e.g. TW, Leap 15.1, SLE15SP1, SLE12SP4
  • Could be as simple as trying to look for both packages in the same way and accept if one of them matches or we do it explicitly and do the check depending on the version

@dheidler have you seen the reminder comment? https://openqa.suse.de/tests/2261950 and https://openqa.suse.de/tests/2261987 are the two most recent incidents of jobs failing using this ticket as a reference. https://openqa.suse.de/tests/2261987#step/validate_packages_and_patterns/13 mentions "# Test died: Package 'update-test-trivial' not found in Basesystem or not preinstalled. Expected to be installed: false" so I assume this is a rather a bug. Haven't you reported that actually update-test-trivial (without the typo) is missing on SLE15SP1?
