Hello!

I have added opensuse-full-with-factory to our mirror infrastructure.

    • 2Gb bandwidth via commodity ISP and 1Gb to internet2. Currently 6TB of disk space but i can easily expand if necessary.
    • IPs and DNS for the whitelist on stage.opensuse.org:
    • mirror.siena.edu (199.223.246.113)

I have also configured this server to support push.

I have rsynced from rsync://rsync.opensuse.org/opensuse-full-with-factory
yesterday.
Please give me access to stage.opensuse.org and let me know if this mirror

Dear Ryan

many thanks for volunteering your time and resources to host a public openSUSE mirror, much appreciated!

I notice that there is no reverse mapping for 199.223.246.113 ?
I've updated the ACL on stage.o.o to accept 'mirror.siena.edu', when the reverse mapping is in place, that'll kick in.

Is there a way to test the push access? I see these entries in my rsyncd logs:

I am working on fixing the reverse dns situation for our 199.224.240.0/21 address space but it may take a little bit.

I was able to fix the reverse dns situation. I am now able to access stage.opensuse.org and i have the mirror updating in 4 hour intervals. Is there a way to see my mirror's status in the mirrorbrain? I am interested in whether or not we are listed as a tumbleweed repo mirror now. I can see see tumbleweed rpm requests coming in so it should be working.

You can see your mirror's status at http://mirrors.opensuse.org

Wrt push access, I'll have to get back to you, I'm not sure what's really needed on our side.
