wfm -- both the 15.0 and the 15.1 RN have the year 2018 in it currently.
Did you open this bug just in case we have another such incident in 2019 or can I close this?
I just copied 15.0 issues to 15.1. This one will be scheduled for next year. Don't worry. it will come back to you :)
Boomerang bugs are exactly the thing I am worried about.
I think the date issues we had previously are actually an issue with the OBS build machines always spitting out the same 2017 date when asked via XSLT. Not sure if that was enabled for reproducible builds or if that is a bug (but I haven't seen the issue on IBS).
In any case, the date shown is now hacked to be based on the last Git commit date, same with the (c) SUSE string at the bottom. cf. https://github.com/openSUSE/release-notes-openSUSE/blob/Leap_15.0/fix-up.xsl#L66 ff.
We're good, the magic worked its magic this time and I had nothing to do.
