Due to last week's visit of the two teachers I was not able to fully work on this issue.
Pushing back the deadline to tomorrow.

This task means running installation tests which are very time consuming.
Currently I have to fight many minor errors that result in always rerunning the whole testrun.

Big step forward:

  • understood how checklog is working -> T05 really is necessary
  • fixed checklog
  • got a test properly running => #361 is no longer blocked

todo:

  • fix isosize check
  • handling of new behavior when test fails
  • redefine good/bad images

Yuhuu!

Some questions:

  • The current openQA webUI git version is outdated? Did you asked to Bernhard about that?
  • #361 is delayed now, can you reestimate this task? Maybe is a good idea to push the task deadline a couple of days.

Oh, and the TODO looks like more tasks to me. Are big enought (>4h) to create new actions here in T10?

Thanks!

The webUI in git is up to date, except for minor adaptions in the Makefile. Those I got and will commit.

These two

  • fix isosize check
  • handling of new behavior when test fails are already done

Redefining good/badimages is a separate task, but better fits in T03B. Coolo checked Bernhard's
application images and they are not reusable for our setup.
The cropping tool in the webui is working now to create these needles.

Coolo and Ludwig were able to deploy an own instance of OpenQA on own machines.
