action #30766
closed[opensuse][functional][yast][medium] test fails in yast2_vnc - because of firewall issue
0%
Description
Observation¶
openQA test in scenario opensuse-15.0-DVD-x86_64-yast2_ncurses@64bit fails in
yast2_vnc
Reproducible¶
Fails since (at least) Build 54.1
Expected result¶
Last good: openSUSE Tumbleweed 20180110 still showing the expected warning about the display manager needed to be restarted.
Problem¶
Seems like previously the dialog asked for "ok" and now it is "next".
Further details¶
Always latest result in this scenario: latest

This is an autogenerated message for openQA integration by the openqa_review script:

- Subject changed from [openSUSE][functional][easy] test fails in yast2_vnc - needle warning_text doesn't match to [opensuse][functional][yast][easy] test fails in yast2_vnc - dialog changed behaviour, e.g. needs "next" press instead of "ok" - was: needle warning_text doesn't match
- Description updated (diff)
- Status changed from New to Workable
- Priority changed from Normal to High
as reported by the automatic reminder script this issue is used currently as labels in failing tests. The issue apparently shows up in both openSUSE Tumbleweed and openSUSE Leap 15.0 so I recommend to expedite the work on it to keep the good state of TW and Leap tests where the review is not as tedious as for other products.
https://openqa.opensuse.org/tests/614380#step/yast2_vnc/9 is the last openSUSE Tumbleweed needle fail match.
Updated description with a proper reference and the real problem: The dialog changed its behaviour so another case of not just a "trivial needle update" ;)

@okurz it seems this one is duplicated to https://progress.opensuse.org/issues/31402.

- Status changed from Blocked to In Progress
after investigation I found there 2 issues: workflow in yast2 vnc and firewall issue
So I can workaround the problem with warning text for now.
