Description

Motivation

We have an internal database for tracking bugs in openQA and we can update the bug status including GUI feedback within openQA. What is missing is a backlink feeding information of tests back into the referenced bugs

Ideas

Use something like https://github.com/bmwiedemann/obsbugzilla to interface with bugzilla and report on updates in product bugs

  • e.g. a bug is created with a reference to a failing openqa test: If the test passes, the bug can automatically be verified/resolved, if it was resolved, it can be reported if the test is still failing
